Rosendale café, run by volunteer allotment plot holders, is open each Sunday afternoon from the start of April for the 2016 season.
Every Sunday, if you’re in need of a hearty lunch and/or a cake break during your day of gardening, head down to the Community Building where volunteers will be serving delicious food. Catch up with your fellow plot holders over hot and tasty meals served at very reasonable prices: a typical two courses will cost you less than a fiver.
The café provides a welcome service to plot holders and helps to build the allotment community with all profits going towards the RAA. The emphasis is on providing high quality healthy food at low prices for those coming to work on their plots.
Rosendale café is in the Community Building on Sundays, opening hours 12–4pm. We will try to update the RAA News page and the RAA Facebook group with menus. The café is totally run by volunteer plot holders who give up their time to produce lunch. If you would like to take charge one Sunday or help out in any way please get in touch with Camilla Brown.
