UPDATE Coronavirus, new rules apply: The Government lockdown 2 rules have been published and, among other things, you can only meet at the allotments with:
– The people you live with;
– Your support bubble, or, when you are on your own
– One person from another household.
Children under five, as well as disabled people dependent on round-the-clock care are not counted towards the limit on two people meeting outside. Children must remain on or very near to their parentsʼ/carers’ allotment. They MUST NOT be allowed to stray onto other plots or roam around the allotments. If the toilet is open any visits by children should be supervised.
UPDATE, Stores: Our Stores are now closed for the winter and will re-open early February 2021. We plan to re-introduce our online ordering system in the new year – full details will be in a forthcoming newsletter and displayed on notice boards, together with a link to our 2021 stock list.
Toilets closed: They increase the potential for infection spread.
Tool hire service closed: For the safety of staff and hirers involved we have stopped the tool hire service for the time being. Plot holders should also not be lending/sharing tools or equipment with each other.
Restricted access: The Community Building and the old Committee hut can only be entered by staff or volunteers approved by the Management Committee.
